Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By registering an account, accessing the coordinate world grid, or engaging in simultaneous We-Go combat within Arcane Rebirth ("the Game", "the Service"), you enter into a legally binding agreement with the operators of the realm.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age for digital service consent in your jurisdiction) to establish an account. By participating, you affirm that you satisfy this requirement.

2. Account Security & Credentials

You are solely responsible for safeguarding the credentials associated with your account:

• You agree not to share your password, transfer, or sell your account to any third party.
• You must maintain an active, valid email address for account recovery.
• Staff members (Moderators, Head-Moderators, Administrators) will never ask for your password under any circumstance.

3. Virtual Currency, Grimoires & Property Rights

All virtual items, equipment, focus wands, grimoire spells, Order Merits, Gold, and Silver are simulated elements of the game world:

• No Real-World Value: In-game currencies and items possess no monetary worth outside of the Arcane Rebirth application.
• Focus Wand Shattering: Participating in high-stakes PvP combat subjects Focus Wands (Rank C+) to destruction under the Shatter Stake rule if you suffer an overwhelming defeat (victor retains ≥ 70% HP). You acknowledge and accept this gameplay risk.
• Limited License: Players receive a revocable, non-exclusive license to use virtual assets within the terms of service.

4. Cataclysmic Realm Purge Protocol Disclaimers

To maintain dynamic competitive balance between seasons, server administrators reserve the authority to execute the Cataclysmic Realm Purge:

• Dynamic progression data (inventories, equipped armaments, learned spells, grimoire pages, quarters decor, and combat logs) may be truncated upon authorized purge execution.
• Qualifying accounts (Level ≥ 5 or Merits ≥ 100) are permanently granted the non-wipeable badge_beta_veteran account badge prior to entity wipe.

5. Moderation & Sanctions Authority

The game world employs a strict tiered moderation governance framework:

• Level 2 Moderators: Empowered to mute disruptive players from chat, issue temporary or permanent bans, and resolve player reports.
• Level 3 Head-Moderators: Empowered to overturn, adjust, or escalate staff penalties and manage moderator appointments.
• Level 4 Administrators: Possess absolute authority to smite accounts, override player records, neutralize territory monoliths, or ban bad actors.

Violations of the Realm Rules may lead to temporary muting, infirmary confinement, or permanent account forfeiture without refund.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All software code, art assets, grimoire illustrations, procedural audio soundscapes, game mechanics, and lore narrations are the exclusive intellectual property of the Arcane Rebirth development team.

You may not decompile, reverse-engineer, mirror, or exploit the engine without explicit prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARCANE REBIRTH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

Under no circumstances shall the operators or contributors be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from connection dropouts, lost virtual items, combat desynchronization, or data maintenance.

8. Covenant Modifications & Inquiries

We reserve the right to revise these Terms of Service. Meaningful updates will be announced via the Global Nexus channel or published in the Realm Gazette. Continued participation represents acceptance of revised terms.
